- Tue, 23 Feb 2010 03:10:46 -0600 -

After winning a Tony award for Spring Awakening, Duncan Sheik wrote another awe-inspiring work, Whisper House, which started off as a musical he co-wrote with Kyle Jarrow. The musical tells a story of a young boy who must live with his grandmother in a haunted lighthouse after his father is lost at sea during World War II. The music that Duncan brings both to the stage and through this tour is as breathtaking as the story itself. The small tour will take up a few dates in March and the final date appearing in April. It’s thought that this tour will mostly be a chance for Duncan Sheik to showcase Whisper House but with a new album coming out sometime soon and so far, very few details on it, who knows what one can expect to hear? - Fans Await Joanna Newsom Early Spring 2010 Tour
- Tue, 23 Feb 2010 02:53:40 -0600 -

Joanna Newsom is ready for a bigger and better year in 2010 as she plans a tour which is rumored to coincide with a new album in the upcoming months. Fans are no doubt excited to see the folksy singer perform live again after Newsom was forced to cancel shows from her last tour due to vocal chord problems. Another thing fans love about Joanna Newsom is that she is very outspoken about the musical style of herself and of others. While her voice has been described as ‘sweet and childlike’ by some, this is a critique that Joanna has always resented. Newsome also plays the harp but has described contemporary harpists today as ‘artless.’ This latest tour comes after her first album “Ys”, which quickly became a favorite among fans and critics alike! - Twiztid Gives Shows Like No Other Throughout Their 2010 Tour
