Get ready for a day of original music excitement. The 11th Annual DeLand Original Music Festival is scheduled for November 5th 2011 in the historic district of Deland, Florida. This year they have over 180 acts performing their original music from 26 stages in the district. This is a one day event that goes from 1pm until 1 am. There are indoor and outdoor stages all within easy walking distance within the area. You are sure to find something of interest going on at any time during the event!

The 11th Annual DeLand Original Music Festival will take place on Saturday Nov 5th from 1pm-1am. This monumental event features original music from over 180 local and regional acts on 26 stages held through the historic Downtown DeLand District.
The festival is the largest ONE-DAY original music festival in the South East. Downtown DeLand provides a perfect backdrop to showcase these acts at one of the nations top award winning historic downtown districts. The event is presented by the Songwriters Showcases of America who also will conducting its 2011 SSA Music Awards during the event. The festival features a wide array of musical styles for all ages to enjoy consisting of Rock, Jazz, Blues, Country, Bluegrass, Hip Hop, Electronica, Industrial, Folk, Christian Rock, Metal, Ska and more, Other activities this year include a wide variety of street vendors and artist as well as a community drum circle.

There is something special about original music performed by the artists and bands that make the art. If you want to hear music performed as it was intended you must hear it from the original artist. I have provided sound production for the event a few times over the years and can tell you that you will not be disappointed if you can attend. Not only will you hear original music, you will hear music produced on unusual instruments or instruments used in unusual ways.
